Welcome to the Philippine Pageant Tribune Miss Philippines Earth Page

The Miss Philippines Earth Pageant would have to be the most socially and environmentally relevant pageant in the country today. It is more than a pageant. It is an ongoing advocacy of beauties with the desire to be women warriors for our environment.

Started in 2001, the Miss Philippines Earth Pageant has evolved to the country's true National Pageant with delegates actually representing their cities or municipalities. This is a pageant where a contestant does not carry a number, but the actual name of her city or municipality. Furthermore, this is the pageant where each delegate is asked of her environmental advocacy which they actually work on during their reign.

Carousel Productions, the organization behind this pageant is the franchise holder of two of the 5 major pageants in the world. The winner of the Miss Philippines Earth Pageant goes on to compete in the Miss Earth Pageant. The first runner-up competes at the Miss Tourism Queen International Pageant.

Even at an early age, this pageant has produced international calibre delegates who have made the country proud:
  • Justine Gabionza, Miss Tourism Queen International 2006
  • Karla Paula Henry, Miss Earth 2008

The Pageant is tied up with the Miss Earth Foundation in its advocacy in saving our environment.
